This document states the rules, terms and conditions of the Scrintal Scholarship by the Scrintal Labs AB (“Scrintal Labs AB” “Scrintal” “our”, “us” or “we”). By participating in the Scrintal Scholarship, you (the “Applicant”) agree to abide by these Scholarship Terms & Conditions.
Application Period: Application Period begins at 6:00 a.m. CET (Central European Time) on September 7, 2021 and ends at 11:59 p.m. CET on December 25th, 2021. The scholarship is awarded on January 25th, 2022.
Application Process: During the application period, applications are done by filling in the application form. A maximum of 1 (one) entry per person is allowed. Scrintal reserves the right to not accept entries that are deemed inappropriate by Scrintal.
Eligibility: Eligibility is limited to individuals only. Scrintal Scholarship cannot be used by businesses for affiliate lead generation, as determined in Scrintal's sole discretion. Scrintal Labs AB employees are not eligible to apply.
Assessment: Each entrant will be assessed by the selection committee, and the committee will determine who the recipient(s) of the scholarship will be.
Recipient Notification: The recipient will be contacted by Scrintal by January 23rd, 2022. Scrintal will then announce the recipient on or after January 25th 2022. Once the recipient has been contacted, it will be announced on the Scrintal website. By entering the scholarship, you give consent to Scrintal to contact you regarding updates of this scholarship.
Limitations of Liability: Scrintal assumes no responsibility or liability for any incorrect or inaccurate entry information. Scrintal reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the scholarship in whole or in part. In such event, Scrintal shall immediately suspend all drawings and prize awards, and Scrintal reserves the right to award any remaining prizes (up to the total set forth in these Official Rules) in a manner deemed fair and equitable by Scrintal, and Scrintal shall not have any further liability to any participant in connection with the scholarship. Scrintal may modify and amend these Official Rules as they may appear online from time to time during the scholarship for clarification purposes without materially affecting the terms and conditions of the scholarship. Scrintal makes no representations or warranties of any kind concerning the appearance, performance or safety of any prize awarded.
Recipient Release: By participating in the scholarship, entrants release Scrintal from and against any and all liability, claims or actions of any kind whatsoever for the receipt, ownership or use of any prize awarded, or while preparing for, participating in or traveling to or from any prize-related activity or any typographical or other error in these Official Rules or the announcement or offering of any prize. The recipient shall bear all risk of loss or damage to their prize after it has been delivered. Except where prohibited by law, the recipient grants to Scrintal the right to print, publish, broadcast and use worldwide in any media now known or hereinafter known, such recipient’s name, voice, statement, video, picture or other likeness, without additional compensation, worldwide, in perpetuity, for public relations, advertising and promotional purposes as may be determined by Scrintal, as applicable.
General Conditions: This scholarship is governed by the laws of Sweden without respect to conflict of law doctrines. The recipient is solely responsible for any and all taxes and related expenses on the prize. Scrintal reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value in the event a prize or any portion of a prize becomes unavailable. No substitution of prize is offered, no transfer of prize to a third party is permitted, and non-cash prizes may not be redeemed for cash value except at Scrintal’s sole discretion. All other expenses on the receipt and use of the prize not specifically mentioned herein are solely the responsibility of the individual recipient. Any portion of a prize not accepted by the recipient will be forfeited. Upon forfeiture for any reason as stated in these Official Rules, no compensation will be given. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Any personal information provided in connection with participation in the scholarship will only be used by Scrintal to notify a potential recipient and/or fulfillment of a prize and shall be subject to Scrintal’s Privacy Policy.
Conduct: By participating in this scholarship, entrants, and participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Scrintal that shall be final and binding in all respects. Failure to comply with these Official Rules may result in disqualification. Scrintal reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual found to be tampering with the operation of the scholarship; or to be acting in any manner deemed by Scrintal to be in violation of the Official Rules; or to be acting in any manner deemed by Scrintal to be unsportsmanlike or disruptive, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person.
Termination, nullification and/or forfeiture of any part of these Official Rules leave the rest of this document and rules intact and applicable.
Privacy: Any personal information collected, processed, and used as part of Scrintal’s Scholarship Program will be used in accordance with Scrintal's Privacy Policy.
